WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS CAN HL CATERING CATER?

  • We can cater all events! Corporate, private parties, weddings, fundraisers, baby showers, bridal showers, and more! Our chefs are also very adventurous and enjoy cooking all types of cuisines. 

WHERE DO I START?

  • The best way to reach us is by filling out the form on our CONTACT US PAGE or you can email us at sales@hlcatering.com. One of our catering experts will be in touch within 1 business day to set up a time to discuss details!

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO GET A PROPOSAL?

  • Each menu is customized to fit your vision, so depending on the complexity of your event, proposals can take 24 hours up to 2 weeks to finalize. If you have a deadline, please be sure to communicate it to your catering expert. Our culinary team and catering experts put a lot of time and thought into our proposals to make sure we are bringing your vision for your event alive through the food.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REACH OUT TO BOOK MY EVENT WITH YOU?

  • We recommend you reach out to us and let us know as soon as you know your date. This allows us to guarantee availability and start the planning process. Dates are reserved on a first come, first serve basis!

DO YOU DO DROP OFFS AS WELL?

  • Yes! If you have a smaller event or in-home private party that does not require servers, we will deliver the food and set it up for you. Additionally, we can provide serving platters or use yours, whichever is preferred! If our platters and serving ware is used, we will pick everything up after the event. 

DO YOU PROVIDE RENTALS SUCH AS PLATES, GLASSWARE, LINENS, OR SILVERWARE?

  • While we do not have rentals in our inventory, we work with amazing event rental companies to provide you with whatever rentals are needed for your event. Our catering expert will work with you to determine your needs and will handle all the logistics with the rental company and ensure that they are delivered to your event!

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL FOR AN EVENT?

  • We primarily work within the NC Triangle area, but we are set up to travel with our mobile kitchen for an additional charge. Please reach out to us for more specific information!

CAN HL CATERING WORK WITH ANY ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

  • Absolutely! We happily accommodate any sort of special dietary needs, allergies, or even preferences. Just let us know what you need and we can make it happen!

HOW DO TASTINGS WORK?

  • After creating a custom menu for your wedding, we will schedule a tasting for up to 6 people, at $50 per person. This gives you a chance to talk with our catering experts, meet our chefs, ask any questions, discuss concerns, and make adjustments to your menu! We like to include most aspects of the menu in the tasting so you can fully experience what you will be served on your Big Day. If you book with us, we will credit up to $200 back to you!

DO YOU PROVIDE BEER, WINE OR LIQUOR?

  • We have the ability to purchase beer and wine for your event! While we do not have a license to purchase liquor, we can provide recommended amounts of liquor for you to buy based on the length of your event and number of guests. You are also welcome to purchase beer and wine on your own, and our bartenders will be happy to serve it! Our bartending specialists can also provide custom cocktail recipes and ideas if needed! Just reach out to us and let us know what you envision!

DO YOU PROVIDE SERVERS AND BARTENDERS FOR YOUR EVENTS AND WHAT CAN THEY DO? 

  • Yes, for full-service events, we will provide servers and bartenders which will be determined by your number of guests.
